- Född i Stockholm 1953. Uppvuxen i Göteborg i borgerlig familj med anti-nazistiskt förflutet. Gick ekonomiskt språkligt gymnasium i tanke att bli jurist, dvs. rik. Läste från 1975, då Keynesianismen fortfarande rådde, Internationell ekonomi med sydamerikansk inriktning (linje 19), tillbringade hösten 1976 i den politiska övergångens Madrid. Jobbade på hotell i 10 år och från 1988 i hemtjänsten. Flyttade till Lund för att läsa till präst 1993. Blev äntligen klar 2000 och prästvigdes för Linköpings stift 2001.
